Black-headed Gulls Colour Ringed at other sites and seen locally

In recent years a number of birds ringed at Cotswold Water Park have been seen at in or near Berkshire breeding
colonies.
|
|
|
Rather bizarrely although many hundreds of Gulls have been colour ringed at Cotswold Water Park three of these
birds were ringed on the same day in 2004. Two arrived together at Moor Green the following spring and the
third waited before visiting the Hosehill intermittently during the 2009 breeding season and apparently settling
to breed in 2010.
