Reading and Basingstoke Ringing is a web site devoted to bird ringing (banding) in the vicinity of these two towns and adjacent areas of Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
We are a small group of independent ringers who live and operate in the area and our main aim is benefit the birds through science, education and conservation. We work closely with local conservation groups, landowners and councils and much of our data contributes to their site management plans.
